36th INFANTRY DIVISION HONOR RIDE

REGISTRATION ENDS AT 1600 WEDNESDAY MAY 20TH 

REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES A MEAL AFTER THE CONCLUSION OF CEREMONIES AT FORT HOOD.

PURPOSE:   Honor the members of the 36th Infantry Division Army National Guard and Celebrate their 92 years of continuous service to the United States of  America.                                      

WHAT:                  Ride Texas 36th Memorial Hwy to Ft. Hood.

 

Participants from the greater Houston area are asked to arrive at the National Guard Armory, 15150 Westheimer (map) staging area at approximately 6 a.m. A police escort will lead the group out I-10 to Sealy.  Riders will then  follow the Texas 36 Memorial Highway  through Sealy, Bellville , Brenham, Caldwell, and Cameron as they head to the final staging area in the parking area of the Bell County Expo Center on I 35 in Belton, Texas.

The State of Texas has erected 36th Division Memorial Markers along the hilly, wildflower covered route. (map of the route ) from Houston.

Soon after check in at the Belton staging area, participants will, as a group, Continue on to Ft. Hood. This will be followed by a meal.

Participants are welcome to join in all or part of the ride.

Those who live outside of the greater Houston area can participate by arriving at the staging area in Belton, Texas wanting to participate
